On December 29, 2012, the City of District Heights hosted A Tribute to Luther Vandross, featuring Y.I.M.A.E.'s very own CEO and Founder, Cornell Stone. A portion of the proceeds were donated directly to the Y.I.M.A.E. organization.

Y.I.M.A.E.'s Red Carpet Event - Benefit Concert filmed by Comcast and D.C. Cable and Television

On April 27, 2012, Youth in Media and Education (Y.I.M.A.E.) held a similar event—a red carpet Benefit Concert event filmed by Comcast and D.C. Cable and Television to raise awareness about this revolutionary organization. Selling out with over 500 attendees, the night featured performances by CEO and Founder Cornell Stone with surprise performances by a selection of local youths and messages from several politicians and community figures. This video showcases the wide range of interest and support received by community leaders and celebrities alike.
